Gilgamis has successfully completed tasks regarding water treatment plant and environmental remedy operations at Al Asad Air Base during The Operation Iraq Freedom. Geographically Al Asad Air Base is located about 100 miles (160 km) west of Baghdad with a perimeter of more than 15 miles (24 km), and is the second largest USAF base in Iraq. The contractual operations started with the water treatment plant renovations and remedies for the ruined sections and finishing the renovations, Gilgamis was assigned as the prime contractor to provide facility operation-maintenance services for the waste for treatment complex. It was the only waste water treatment facility in the base and it was utilized during the authorization of 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF). Other major tenants have included the 82nd
Airborne Division Advise & Assist Brigade, 321st Sustainment Brigade, VOD-1,[1] VAQ-142, Navy Customs Battalion Juliet, elements of the Iraqi Army’s 7th Division, and the United States Air Force (USAF). Technically, Gilgamis Group performed daily visits (365 days/year) and necessary testing and record keeping complying with U.S. Military Standards for quality, collected monthly Pollutant Dischage Ellimination Systems in accordance with the regulations and laws regarding clean water act. Specifically, we maintained the ultraviolet purification system with the provision of replacement lamps and ultraviolet tubes. Another aspect of management system was the chemicals complying with the environmental standards which empose materials non-hazardous to the environment; we provided the best chemicals in accordance with the U.S. Military standards equal to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems act. The testing equipment for chlorine residual, dissolved oxygen and PH monitoring and related daily record keeping was also provided by Gilgamis Group.
Contractually, the agreement between the client (U.S. Government) and Gilgamis Group had been renewed with several task orders. However, the basic acquisition methods had been utilized to source the successful contractor to perform the services for the maintenance of the facility and related structures. Eventually, Gilgamis Group was the awardee with its professional personnel, equipment sources already deployed in the base as well as a well established logistics system to source spare parts and related maintenance equipment , despite the most contingent moments of the on-going war against the insurgents. Gilgamis Group , undertaking the services in 2003, completed its operations in 2011 with a zero incident environment (zero accidents, zero environmental incidents).

The Police Headquarters Project was performed at Al Habbaniyah (Arabic: الحبانية (which is a city at Al Asad Airbase (Al-Anbar Province), in central Iraq. Geographically, Anbar governorate consider part of the Arabian Peninsula. The region’s geography is a combination of steppe and true desert, characterised by a desert climate, low rainfall and a large variation in temperature between day and night. Summer temperatures rise to 42 degrees Celsius, whilst in the winter average lows reach 9 degrees Celsius. The northwesterly and southwesterly winds are sometimes to a maximum speed of 21 m / sec. Average rainfall in winter to 115mm.
The construction scope included the design and build of simple protected shelters for the Police Headquarters at Habbaniyah to include an administration room, barracks, a training room, storage and support buildings, dining facilities, perimeter wall with guard towers, Entry Control Point (ECP) with Guard House, and all utilities and related infrastructure to serve a population of approximately 100 or 150 personnel (Commercial and Instutional Housing Construction-NAICS code 236220). Gilgamis handled the project from site adapt to the finishes and provided a successful completion of the services.
The project had regional challenges with an austre climate as well as the logistical factors for the procurement and transportation of the construction materials, equipment and construction machinery. Gilgamis Group was to provide all life support to its personnel including the temporary living units utilized for the onsite personnel with a project management office. The sanitary facilities such as laundry,ablution and dining facilities including all necessary plumbing and temporary power generation were provided. Furthermore, the onsite security of the personnel as well as the equipment, machinery and the project warehouse was provided by Gilgamis Group. The acquisition was performed in resticted environment limited to Tetra Tech Inc. prequalified subcontractors and issued as a Design-Bid-Build Request for Proposal (RFP) which was resulted in an award of a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Design-Build construction subcontract. The project was completed in 180 days in complience with the project timeline and conditions submitted in our initial bid.
Gılgamış operated and managed the solid waste treatment facility at Al Asad Base in Iraq in 2005. The operations that we performed was the management of the facility and operations including collection and segregation of the solid waste generated in the base complex.
Gılgamış provided all labor, material, and equipment necessary to provide maintenance and refurbishment services for the water pump station utility, electrical distribution, control panels and associated utilities in Al Asad Base in 2005 in Iraq.

Gılgamış provided leased light and heavy vehicles including all terrain vehicles at Al Asad Base in 2005. All vehicles and associated equipment were provided safely operable and met the safety standards. The vehicles met the intended functions and operations of like new condition and be in accordance with this PWS, the contract, and U.S., Host Nation, and local laws and regulations. The We hired and maintained an appropriate number of personnel in order to perform the requirements of this contract, regarding scheduled maintenance and othe contractual issues.
Gılgamış provided operation and maintenance services for 33 KV Commercial Electrical line in 20005 in the country of Iraq.
Gılgamış performed indefinite quantity contract for rehabilitation of roads and asphalt pavement repair works consisting of supplying materials and labor to maintain and improve roads in the areas around Al Asad Base.
Work and materials for reconditioning and resurfacing roads included grading; seeding of disturbed areas; topsoil; gravel surfacing; aggregate base course; concrete for roads; curb and gutter; bituminous pavement; striping for roads – shoulder, centerline, and parking areas; drainage improvements; geotextile placement; and crack sealing.
Gılgamış provided scheduled/unscheduled inspections, maintenance and repairs, to include accident repair for military armoured and non-armoured vehicles as well as the construction equipment. Inspections included pre/post-deployment, quarterly, and annuals. Gılgamış provided all supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform the management and operation of equipment maintenance functions as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). All supplies and materials were of a type and quality that conform to applicable industry accepted standards and, to the extent feasible and reasonable, included the exclusive use of biobased products. All supplies, materials, and equipment used in the performance of work described were performed and the contracted was completed successfully.
