Safety Culture

Our safety objective is to create a “zero injury” workplace. We perform our services in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 legislation and inherit the development and implementation of safety management program. Gılgamış strives to provide and maintain the safest work conditions.

Comprehensively, our safety program embraces all the parties and individuals involve in and related to our operations. Our approac strives to eliminate job site hazards and prevent injuries by identifying them before the construction and other operations starts. We always perform follow up inspections at our work sites in order to ensure that the implementation of our policies and procedures are in good conduct.

These standards along with our policies, mandatory safety inspections and training programs have created a comprehensive and effective safety organization.

Our safety program proves that injuries are preventable. Our employees can perform operations only when it is safe and working safely is one of the conditions in the recruitment procedures. Gılgamış offers necessary posters and employee manuals for safety awareness and we encourage our employees to read them.

Lean Approach

Our approach to the management is lean and our culture embraces coordintion and colloboration, schedule and deliver the products while consuming less resources with the vision of reliability. We promote the effienciency of the deliveries of our services. Our culture emphasize re-consideration and the elimination of waste of all nature while creating predictable and reliable workflows.  We develop and maintain a lean management culture of continuous improvement in our project management system. The project teams of Gılgamış have experienced improvement in the design, better client relations, communinication, coordination, better cost identifications and schedule of performance.

By a lean management system our objective is to maximize customer value while minizing the impacts of the waste to the nature. Simply, we aim to cretae more value for clients with less use of resources.  We understand  customer value and focus our key processes to continuously increase it. The ultimate goal is to provide perfect value to the customer through a perfect value creation process that has zero waste. To accomplish this, We changes the focus of management from optimizing separate technologies, assets, and vertical departments to optimizing the flow of products and services through entire value streams that flow horizontally across technologies, assets, and departments to customers.

Eliminating waste along entire value streams, instead of at isolated points, Gılgamış creates processes that need less human effort, less space, less capital, and less time to make products and services at far less costs and with much fewer defects, compared with traditional business systems. Gılgamış is able to respond to changing customer desires with high variety, high quality, low cost, and with very fast throughput times. Also, we make  information management much simpler and more accurate.
