We aim to follow and to promote good sustainability practice, to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities and to help our clients and partners to do the same.

Gılgamış complies with, and exceed where practicable, all applicable legislation, regulations and codes of practice. We integrate sustainability considerations into all our business decisions and ensure that all staff are fully aware of our Sustainability Policy and are committed to implementing and improving it. We utilized all office and transportation activities by giving attention to the impact minimization on sustainability. We make clients and suppliers aware of our Sustainability Policy, and encourage them to adopt sound sustainable management practices. Our management reviews, annually report, and to continually strives to improve our sustainability performance and take practical steps in order to put these principles into practice.

As much as possible, we arrange for the reuse or recycling of office waste, including paper, computer supplies and redundant equipment. Reduction of  the energy consumption with office equipment by purchasing energy efficient equipment and good housekeeping is our core objective regarding sustanability.   While executing projects  we strive to  purchase electricity from a supplier committed to renewable energy. We take initiatives to maximize the proportion from renewable energy sources, whilst also supporting investment in new renewable energy schemes.

Solar Projects

Gılgamış offers design, development, construction, operation  and the maintenance of the solar power plants. Depending on the captured  amount of the energy of the sun, Solar Technology can be commonly classified as active or passive and it can be used to support our energy consumptions at hour houses as well as the industry.

Active solar technology includes equipment that directly converts the sun’s energy into electricity (photovoltaic panels), while passive solar techniques include such options as orienting a building relative to the sun’s rays or selecting materials with light-dispersing properties. Gılgamış offers solar energy solutions with our integrated team of engineers consisting of electrical, mechanical and materials engineers.

In conjunction with the quality perspectives, the adaptation of the policies and the quality implementation at department levels is an important aspect of our program.  Moreover, Health-Safety and Environmental implementation is another aspect  in our structure of management. Thereby, these are the two core factors of the policy implementation at the sustainability strategy.

The corporate objectives will be updated for a sustainable growth of the management mechanism and for a continued development. The corporate board of directors is involved in the development and strategies programs with a full time participation in order to assume and adapt the rules and codes without discrimination between the departments as well as subcontractors and sub-suppliers.

Wind Farm Projects

Gılgamış offers development, engineering, procurement, operation and maintenance services for the wind farm projects. Furthermore, we have specialized team of engineers to investigate the issues such as availability and reliability matters  along with the issues (electrical generator performance, over-speed failure, composite materials, hydraulic leakage, tribology, etc ) related to the wind turbines in building up wind farms.

Gılgamış coordinates with the electrical utilities in issues related to power generation, distribution and transmission controls.  We have the capacity needed fort he analysis of complex matters connected with the with turbine systems such as as special electrical generators, power electronic systems in control systems and electrical systems needed to interface to the electric power systems. Our electrical staff has expertise in both AC and DC transmission systems.
